It saddens me to inform you that Malcolm Parry, a member of Stanwich since 1964 has passed away.

W. Malcolm (Mal) Parry, longtime resident of Greenwich, and summer resident of Siasconset, MA, died at home on July 27th.
Mal was a 1939 graduate of The Choate School in Wallingford, CT and a graduate of Yale University, class of 1943. During World War II, he proudly served in the South Pacific as a member of the Army Air Corps 45th Fighter Squadron.
In 1951, Mal graduated from New York University School of Law, and began his career as a patent attorney at the firm now known as Ladas & Parry. He retired from practice in 1990.
Mal was known for his sharp mind, generous spirit, and unfailing integrity. He was a voracious reader who loved travel, tennis, the Marx Brothers, Sinatra, and the NY Mets. He was a member of the Stanwich Club, as well as the Siasconset Casino and the Nantucket Yacht Club. Mal supported a number of organizations in Greenwich, and was a longtime Board member of the Greenwich Academy.
Mal is survived by his beloved wife of 74 years, Mary Louise, and his children, Meg Parry, Ann Parry, Gwen Norris (Carl), David Parry (Sally Casey), and Jack Parry, and by his 7 grandchildren. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Greenwich Hospital Home Hospice, 500 West Putnam Ave., Greenwich, CT 06830.
