Dear Member,

We regret to inform you that our former member Tony Carpenter passed away July 12, 2015.   We extend our condolences to the Carpenter family. 

Anthony Carpenter died on July 12 in Vero Beach FL. He was the son of Dean Carpenter & Rosemary Hilton Carpenter, born in Texas in 1932. He leaves his loving wife of 60 years Lilan, children Dean, Hilary and Tracey and 4 grandchildren. He rose to Vice-President of Hilton International, which took the family all over the world, including St. Thomas, Istanbul and Sydney. Lilan and Tony met at The Hotel School in Lausanne, Switzerland, where they embarked on a remarkable life. They returned to the US from Sydney in 1982 to open the Vista Int'l division of Hilton Int'l, settling in Greenwich, CT until retirement when they moved permanently to Vero Beach, FL. The family will celebrate his life with a private gathering in the near future when his ashes will be spread. Tony will be deeply missed.
